Without the customer's legal and proper authorization, TWIST will not proactively disclose, edit, or reveal the customer's personal data and non-public content stored by the customer in TWIST (including but not limited to TWIST emails), unless the following circumstances exist:
i. Applicable legal requirements, government agency requirements, or TWIST's legitimate service procedures.
ii. In emergency situations, to protect the rights and interests of customers and the public. iii. To protect TWIST's intellectual property rights or other legitimate rights and interests. iv. Other situations where disclosure, editing, or reporting of personal data is legally required. b) Customers agree to TWIST's use of their personal data in the following circumstances, including but not limited to: i. For promotional purposes, TWIST may share customer personal data with third-party partners. ii. TWIST will match customer data with data from third-party partners. iii. TWIST will disclose customer statistics to potential partners, advertisers, and other third parties, and describe TWIST's online services for other legal purposes.
iv. TWIST will send customers information about different TWIST products and services, or other products and services that TWIST believes customers may be interested in. If customers do not wish to receive such information, they only need to inform us when providing their personal data or at any other time.
c) TWIST will make reasonable efforts to protect customer data, but TWIST cannot guarantee or assure customers of the security of any customer's personal data, and customers must assume all risks. The aforementioned risks include, but are not limited to: when customers disclose personal data online, the data may become publicly available, and customers may receive information without their consent; TWIST's partners or any other third parties who obtain customer personal data through other websites may conduct independent data collection and other activities with customers. TWIST shall not be liable at any time for the aforementioned actions of customers or any other third parties, or for any risks, losses, or damages caused to customers by such actions.
